Carlotta is a Fine Art graduate of the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL (First-Class Honours). Her multidisciplinary practice spans painting, drawing, photography and film, informed by philosophy, European art history and experimental cinema. Her work engages performance and movement, and in 2018 she participated in a Dance and Art intensive residency at Mahler & LeWitt Studios in Spoleto, Italy, working alongside the Trisha Brown Dance Company.
Since 2019 she has mentored students aged 11–30 in Art & Design, portfolio development and academic writing. She has successfully supported students gaining admission to highly competitive institutions across the UK and US, including University of the Arts London, Goldsmiths, University of London, University College London, Rhode Island School of Design, Parsons School of Design, New York University and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Several students have secured places directly onto BA and BFA programmes without completing a foundation year.
Alongside her independent practice, Carlotta has worked as an artist assistant in leading London studios and brings first-hand insight into contemporary art education and professional expectations.
